What's "Good Enough"?

Excellent Infrastructure

  • • Home charging available
  • • 5+ DC fast chargers within 20 miles
  • • Multiple networks represented

Adequate Infrastructure

  • • Home or work charging available
  • • 2-3 DC fast chargers within 30 miles
  • • Some public Level 2 options

Limited Infrastructure

  • • No home/work charging
  • • Few or no DC fast chargers nearby
  • • Consider waiting or PHEV

Remember

Infrastructure is improving rapidly. Even if your area seems limited now, new chargers are being added constantly. With home charging, you'll rarely need public chargers for daily driving anyway!
